THE LONGEST NIGHT
Despite the joyous nature of the holidays, the Christmas season can be a tough time for people coping with stress, grief, loss, or illness. As we near the longest night of the year, tend to your soul with an evening of prayers, reflections, and Taizé music that honor our burdens and remind us that the light the shines in the darkness and the darkness can never overcome it. Know that you are not alone.
HANGING OF THE GREENS &
It’s a morning of fun for all ages. After a breakfast of pancakes and bacon, you’re invited to help decorate the church for Christmas or make a gingerbread house to take home…or both! The choice is yours.
No matter who you are, no matter what you’ve done, come hear a story meant just for you-God’s promise of unconditional love.
THE FIRST SUNDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS
A Christmas tradition for the entire family featuring Scripture and readings from writers such as Ann Weems, Langston Hughes, and Annie Dillard.
THE CHILDREN’S EPIPHANY PAGEANT
We conclude the 12 Days of Christmas with a celebration of the Three Wise Men and the bright light of Jesus’ love.
