Fun & Fellowship

Laughter and friendship can heal even the most stubborn among us. Discover the beauty of rest and play.

DINNER FOR EIGHT

Dinner for Eight is small groups of 8 persons sharing simple meals and fellowship every 6 weeks over the course of one year. The intention is to have fun and provide an opportunity for us to meet each other and become better acquainted. Households rotate the responsibility of hosting — providing the space and usually the main course with others providing an appetizer, salad, bread, dessert or drinks. Groups may also choose to go out once or twice during the year. Sign up here!

LADIES & MEN’S NIGHT OUT

3rd Wednesday of the Month, 6:00 PM
Take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a casual evening of fellowship and good food.  Check the calendar or contact the office for the latest location.

GAME NIGHTS

Game Nights take place in the winter as a way for people of all ages to gather together for card games, board, games, kids games, and table-tennis.

BOOK CLUB

The Book Club gathers every 6 weeks for discussion and reflection over a fiction or non-fiction selection. The Book Club is open to everyone and all contribute to the selection of books.
Contact Kathy Fornadley: [email protected] or Cathy Lavender: [email protected].

POTLUCKS, BREAKFASTS, AND PICNICS

Several times a year we gather for breakfast, potlucks, and picnics, including an Advent Breakfast and Gingerbread workshop in December; Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner in February/March; and picnics throughout the summer.

PARISH RETREAT

Once a year we head to the foothills of Virginia for a weekend of games, music, relaxation, and nature. It’s a great time for people of all ages. Check out photos from the 2022 retreat.
