Modeled after the beloved children’s book Flat Stanley, Flat Jesus is a fun way to take Jesus along with you on your travels, strike up conversation with others, remember that Jesus’ is in the face of both friend and stranger, and that—whether we are close or apart—we need and belong to one another. Pick up a “Flat Jesus” in the Welcome Center or narthex (rear lobby) or download him here. Decorate your “Flat Jesus.” Email the photo and a brief caption to: office@stpaulswaldorf.org.

Join Mother Maria for a discussion of Holy Envy: Finding God in the Faith of Others by Barbara Brown Taylor. Holy Envy recounts how Taylor’s Christian faith was both challenged and renewed as she connected with people of other traditions. Discussion will take place IN PERSON on June 15, June 22, and June 29 at 6:30. Please read chapters 1-4 for the first session.
Nurture your faith this summer with our Summer of Love Bingo. Each card has twelve squares with three categories: Love God, Love Neighbor, and Love Yourself. Once you’ve achieved bingo (across, down, diagonal, or blackout), bring your card to church and we’ll post it on our Summer Bingo Bulletin Board. Download the card here or pick up a copy on Sunday.

This summer St. Paul’s is partnering with Christ Church (La Plata) and Peace Lutheran (Waldorf) to host a series of monthly Pride Picnics.
